John York
John is a financial professional with New York Life that is incredibly passionate about helping his clients live their best life now while continually building a better life for the future. He focuses on educating clients, so they understand how to use their money efficiently and optimize the value of their dollars. He also enjoys teaching young adults the power of the time value of money and helping them establish an achievable path to a fulfilling retirement.
John graduated from Texas A&M University with a double major in marketing and information systems. He is proud to be recognized as an Executive Council member with New York Life from 2022 to the present*.
Being involved in the community is something that is really important to John. He volunteers with the Servant Chefs feeding the homeless. He also volunteers with his church, Preston Trail Community Church, by serving on the Worship Team playing guitar when needed.
John and his wife Janine live in McKinney and love the area. He has three children that are at different points in their adult journeys, but all love playing sports. Peyton coaches soccer for a D1 University, and Cade recently is married and continuing his career in the NFL and Carson recently graduating and started his career in HVAC. John loves watching each of his kids play sports or coach and travels to see them compete whenever possible. He also has a passion for music and has played guitar since he was 12. He’s currently in three bands that perform around North Texas and feels fortunate to share his gift with the community and help others sing along to amazing music.
